I have been seeing these all over
blogland, on all of my favorite blogs. I have been looking for one for over a year. I couldn't believe my luck when I found one at a thrift store yesterday for only $1.50! I think I actually squealed! I knew
immediately what I wanted to do with it. Now I just need to figure out how I want to decorate it! Here is a brief step-by-step of my quick makeover.

This is what it looked like originally, I want to apologize for the poor pictures, I had to use my phone. It was very dirty, and quite dull. It was simple to clean, looked brand new after just a little Windex.

I simply spray painted the plate. I did two coats on the top and one on the bottom.

The after. I am very happy how it turned out. It is just my taste. It is simple and graceful and fits perfectly with my
pre-existing decor.

My quick attempt at decorating with it. Still not sure what I will put in it. This will do for a few days though.
